“I will Strengthen”
My soul melteth for heaviness: strengthen thou me according unto thy word.
ZAIN, Remember the word unto thy servant, upon which thou hast caused me to hope.
Like a crane or a swallow, so did I chatter: I did mourn as a dove: mine eyes fail with looking upward: O LORD, I am oppressed; undertake for me.
But woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck, in those days! For there shall be great distress in the land, and wrath upon this people.
And, behold, this day I am going the way of all the earth; and ye know in all your hears and in all your souls, that not one thing hath failed of all the good things which the LORD your God spake concerning you; all are come to pass unto you, and not one thing hath failed thereof.
And said, O man greatly beloved; fear not: peace be unto thee, be strong, yea, be strong. And when he had spoken unto me, I was strengthened, and said, Let my lord speak; for thou hast strengthened me.
Yet now be strong, O Zerubbabel, saith the LORD; and be strong, O Joshua, son of Josedech, the high priest; and be strong, all ye people of the land, saith the LORD, and work: for I am with you, saith the LORD of hosts:
Then he answered and spake unto me, saying, This is the word of the LORD unto Zerubbabel, saying, Not my might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the LORD of hosts.
Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.
